Pintercom Terms of Use and Subscription Terms

1. General

These Terms govern use of Pintercom. Rightsholder: Alexander Kondrashov, plotojad@gmail.com.

Installing or using the App means you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy.

2. License

You receive a limited, non-exclusive, revocable and non-transferable license to use the App on compatible devices for lawful purposes.

You may not bypass access restrictions, interfere with payment systems, decompile beyond what law permits, distribute modified builds, use the App maliciously, or infringe others’ rights.

3. Service operation

Pintercom primarily operates within a local Wi-Fi network. A Host creates and controls a room; participants join through discovery, invitation or QR code.

Quality and availability depend on devices, operating-system permissions, router settings, interference, client isolation, Bluetooth equipment and user actions.

The App is not a telecommunications operator and does not guarantee operation in every network or environment.

4. FREE and PRO

FREE allows a Host to create a room for up to three devices, including the Host.

PRO_TRIAL and PRO provide the same paid feature set in the current version, including higher-capacity rooms and features marked PRO.

A participant may temporarily inherit features of a PRO room but does not acquire a personal subscription. Inherited access ends after leaving the room.

Watch Remote is a remote control available in an active PRO/PRO_TRIAL room; the watch is not a standalone Host or voice participant.

5. Subscriptions and payments

Two auto-renewing RuStore subscriptions are offered: pintercom.pro.monthly and pintercom.pro.yearly. Both grant the same PRO entitlement and differ only in billing period and price.

Current price, currency, period, trial availability and renewal terms are displayed by RuStore before purchase and prevail over promotional materials.

If RuStore offers a free trial, it begins and ends under store rules. Pintercom does not start a trial from the installation date and does not guarantee repeat eligibility.

Payment is charged through the RuStore account/payment interface. The subscription renews automatically until auto-renewal is disabled in RuStore.

Turning off renewal normally leaves access active until the end of the paid period. Refunds and disputes are governed by RuStore rules and applicable law.

During a temporary store outage, Pintercom may retain previously verified access for no more than 72 hours and never beyond official subscription expiry. Confirmed expiry, revocation or absence returns the App to FREE.

6. User data and conduct

You are responsible for your display name, avatar, room name, PIN, QR invitations and third-party rights.

You must not use the App for unlawful activity, harassment, unauthorized interception, violation of communications secrecy or transmission of prohibited material.

The Host is responsible for inviting participants and using mute/kick/ban controls in the room.

7. Updates

The rightsholder may release updates and change interface, compatibility and feature composition. An up-to-date version may be required for security and store operation.

Paid presets may remain stored after downgrade to FREE, but starting or editing them may be blocked until PRO is restored; deletion remains available.

8. Disclaimer

The App is provided “as is” to the fullest extent permitted by law. The rightsholder does not warrant uninterrupted operation, absolute security, compatibility with every device, or fitness for a specific professional purpose.

Do not use Pintercom as the sole emergency, medical, security, industrial-safety or other safety-critical communication system.

9. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, the rightsholder is not liable for indirect loss, lost data, profits or communications, or consequences of network/equipment failures. Liability that cannot legally be excluded remains unaffected.

10. Termination

You may stop using the App, uninstall it and cancel the subscription in Google Play or App Store. The rightsholder may restrict access for breach, payment-system interference or security threats.

11. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the USA unless mandatory consumer law in your country provides otherwise. Before litigation, contact plotojad@gmail.com with a description and supporting materials.

12. Changes and contact

The current version is published at https://plotojad.com/projects/docs/pintercom/terms-en. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
